You art is wonderful but I saw you aren't around as much :( I really understand though! I was wondering if you have another art blog? It would be amazing to keep up with following and supporting your work! You deserve it! :D

Oh hey, I just saw this one. Thanks a lot for your kind words, and I hope you’re having a good day! I’m not around here much at all, but I just made an Instagram if anyone wants to keep up with what’s going on art-wise: https://www.instagram.com/adlb_art/

I have an empty project blog on here also, but there’s nothing much going on there for the minute

Thanks a lot again!

I’ve been debating if I want to still be on this site and in the fandom communities for a little while now, and so I’ve been away for a bit while I gather my thoughts.

I won’t go into it too much: I’m seeing a lot of toxic drama over minuscule issues, as well as idea theft, aggressive bullying, and elitism amongst other things, and these are harmful things to encourage within a group of creators.

In the biggest, grandest scheme of your entire life - as it has been and what it will be - someone’s fandom character or interpretation of something will most likely have little impact on what you achieve and the person you will become. This is not to nullify or minimise whatever you may be feeling at the current point, as your emotions are as valid as the sky is blue on a cloudless summer day; however, I feel as though some perspective is needed sometimes.

Will you remember this conflict in five years time? Ten years time? Will this still make you angry or upset as it does now, or will it become different as things change over time?

I’m grateful for the people I’ve met - negatively and positively, as every person brings a learning experience with them, but I think with this that I’m done. Maybe this will change later on, and I’ll feel ready to dive in again, who knows.

I will still keep my personal project blog open, and get to work on starting that, but I’m out on this account. Thank you everyone for everything, and have a good day.

yo I heard you like medic-nin who are also dudes

doing art stuff that isn’t commissions, feels good - found this old one of my boy Sane, he’s a goodish lad that you’ll want to know (depending on which au he’s in).

On Miume’s old genin team, he’s related distantly but they get on like siblings. He likes cooking stuff and playing sports outside like a nerd-jock, and you can find him lurking around in the medical corps - immediately identifiable by his long ginger hair and height.

DonateLife Week (AUS) - 29 July to 5 Aug 2018

Stats:

- 1 in 3 (6.5 million) people are currently signed up for the Australian Organ Donor Register, but of those only 8% are people between the ages of 18-24.

- People generally wait between six months to four years for an organ transplant, and for some this can take even longer.

- Only 73% of loved ones agree to a donation if the donor is not on the AODR, even if told of the deceased’s wishes prior. Registering and then informing your family - a two-step process - is critical because:

- Only 2% of all hospital deaths occur where critical organ donation is viable, such as heart and lung failure (circulatory death) or being declared braindead.

- Criteria for donations such as eye or tissues are much more lax, as these can be donated up to 24 hours after death regardless of where you die - this helped more than 9000 Australians recover from medical conditions or injuries in 2017.

- Almost anyone can donate their organs and tissues, regardless of age, smoking or alcohol intake.

- All you need to register is your Medicare number. This is free to sign up for, and so is the cost of donation.
